Issued in 1965, this was one of the most successful Corgi models ever produced, with nearly 4 million issued in time for Christmas to coincide with the movie Goldfinger.

Early Box/Packaging Variations
The first issue had no arrow on the plinth base
The second issue had Aston Martin DB5 on a black background on the box and the plinth had an arrow pointing to the secret instructions, it also contained a 1966 advertising flyer.
Early Casting/Body types
There were two different casting types, one with indicator light detail and double ‘side vent’ and the other without indicator and less vent detail
Colour Variations
There was a colour change on some later issues, the box was the same but the car was a more mustard gold colour and the roof interior was a light tan
